My Birthday!

Hi everyone! How are you all doing? ♥

I am finally updating my blog, after a couple weeks (I think)! I've been going out A LOT, and I want to show you all the places that I've been lately but, like you know, I'm lazy to make posts! ^^' Though, in time I will post everything!

I want to start by saying that I've changed a bit my header! Now it says 'TheGothica.com' and in another font/color. I like it better this way, I don't think the old one fit the blog very well (basically I thought it was really ugly >.<)

Don't you think it looks much better? 

As some of you know, last Monday was my birthday! *-* I am officially an year older now! I had such an awesome day!

Some of the afternoon was spent with my brother and his girlfriend Nessa-chan! I loved being with them, I haven't seen my brother since February ;__; Unfortunately I wasn't able to be with other people I really wanted to, like my beautiful girlfriend. 

I dressed up in Lolita for my birthday! My parents gift was a Lolita JSK (a Bodyline one that I really like. I don't care what people say, I liked the dress and I can't afford a €300 dress at the moment). I also wanted a matching headdress but they didn't have it anymore ;__;

I think that I was quite simple, to be honest. I could have worn a wig or even done something with my hair, like curling but since my party was only with family I tried avoiding that. It's not that they're not used to my excentric tastes, but my mother usually says bad stuff so I tried to keep my extravagancy to the minimum.

The party itself was actually pretty nice! I think this must have been my best birthday so far because I didn't have to get mad at anyone. 

But really, the best thing about it was my birthday cake! It was so perfect, I almost felt sorry to eat it! But it was a chocolate cake so I couldn't resist the temptation (I'm chocoholic) XD

It had my favorite scene from the manga Naruto: chapter 590, the last panels (where Itachi tells Sasuke that no matter what he'll love him forever).

"Parabéns" means "Happy Birthday" in Portuguese!

I really loved the cake, I know that for some it's just a regular cake, not for me though. It represents one of the things that touched me more (and still does) in life and many other things I can't really explain. It's perfect! And it got like 74 notes on Tumblr in less than a day! o.o

I didn't have many gifts this year, but honestly I don't really care because I had good ones! Besides, I'm still waiting for a couple of things that haven't arrived. When they do, I'll make a post about it!

Creepers: TUK

My new gorgeous black and white creepers!! They're so pretty *-* I've been wanting one of these for so long, you have no idea. And after I bought my black and pink ones, I got addicted to this kind of shoe! They were a gift from my grandparents.

And I got birthday cards! I LOVE to get them *-* The one on the left was also from my grandparents and the one on the right from my uncle. I cried a bit with the sweet messages inside of them, I get really emotional with this kind of stuff ^^'

Lolita JSK: BodyLine

I'm so in love with my first Lolita JSK! Like I said before, I don't care what people say. First I'm not a real Lolita, I'm just an appreciator of that style, and like to dress like one sometimes. Second, the dress is gorgeous and not expensive at all, which is great. Who cares if it's Bodyline?

One day I'm going to buy a Moi-Meme-Moitie, Angelic Pretty, BTSSB, etc dress. But now I don't have the money so a Bodyline one it is ♥ Better one than none!

More details:

It came with two bows that you can apply on the dress! They're really small and fragile, so I'm always kind of scared that I can ruin them or something >.<

I also tried REALLY HARD to take a decent picture of the package the dress and bows came in, but I failed miserably. It's either too grany or the flash ruins everything.

This is the best picture of all! I took like 15! But honestly, the only thing you can't really see very well is the 'Body Line', the rest shows the real colors and details! So pretty *-*

And now the long post is over! I'll try posting something new soon, and show you my other gifts once I get everything! Oh, I also got some money, but I won't show that XD
